Nitronic Sheet

Let’s have a look on the wide range of Nitronic Sheet which provides a significantly lower cost solution to wear and galling problems than cobalt bearing and high nickel alloys. It is a high strength austenitic stainless steel strengthened by nitrogen. The alloy has better uniform corrosion resistance than type 304 in most media. Nitronic Sheet is available in some varieties such as Nitronic 60 Sheet, and Nitronic 50 Sheet. This is an anti-galling and wear resistant austenitic stainless steel. It provides a significantly lower cost alternative to combat wear and galling when compared with cobalt-bearing and high nickel alloys. This sheet has excellent high temperature oxidation resistance and good low temperature impact resistance.
