Hastelloy C276 Weldneck Flange is generally used to stop one end of the flanged pipe, the opening of a pressure valve or an orifice valve. This flange is used in wide variety of hazardous waste management technologies where great resistance to corrosion is required. This flange is used in flue gas desulfurization systems, since the alloy demonstrates excellent resistance to pitting and stress related corrosion cracking. Hastelloy C276 Weldneck Flange also provides easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. Flanges are usually welded or screwed. This flange is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments.
